Eligibility
- Must be a citizen of India and generally above 14 years of age (or between 21 to 45 years for specific industry upgrade programs).
- Priority is given to women, individuals from SC/ST communities, minorities, persons with disabilities, and those from Below Poverty Line (BPL) families.
- The scheme is implemented through empaneled Implementing Partners (IPs), which include textile industries, industry associations, and government agencies, who must meet specific financial and experience criteria.

- Aadhaar card, PAN card, Voter ID
- Residential proof or address proof
- Bank passbook, income certificate, caste certificate (if applicable), disability certificate (if applicable), and ration card.
- Passport size photographs.
- School leaving certificate or birth certificate.
Subsidy/Benefits
The scheme does not offer a direct, fixed "subsidy" to individual trainees in the traditional sense, but rather fully funded skill development training.
